![]() ![]() I would then be bankrupt to make peace with 7 other nations. ![]() I saved my game, and tried making a peace deal (re: 5000 ducats, return cores, cede multiple provinces, break vassalships ets.). ![]() Now, I would take that peace agreement, if only it wasn't with just one nation. Now I am looking at seemingly limitless stream of 50 unit armies coming in, and all I have is my 20 unit army I am frantically moving around to avoid it completely wiped out. Just when I thought I was starting to improve relations with my diplomats, all hell broke lose, and I managed to defeat 500 units, but now I have no manpower, no mercenaries, and even though I won a ton of battles and took a few colonies, their demands are unreasonable. SO within 5 years of this happening, the Ottomans (which had greatly expanded, Netherlands (which also expanded with its colonial assets, England, France, random Italian and Holy Roman Empire countries all joined up in a coalition against me. Since I am a great power and every neighbor sees me as a rival (I have an income of over 470 ducats per month), my relations weren't that great even with dilpomatic advisors with bonuses. I managed to defeat about four or five 50 unit armies, defeated every known navy, and then I occupied most of France, and revceived 4 provinces, and vassalized a few others. I was playing peacefully (mostly) as Spain, and I hadn't taken another province in 50 years at least, but randomly, the game made me have a succession war over Lorraine with France ( I don't remember ever being in a personal union, wtf), and their three billion allies, and for some reason I also was fighting some of their allies allies. ![]()
